About Graystone

A safety company, not a firearms company.

Graystone occupies the space between education and capability: recognize threats, reduce vulnerabilities, prepare appropriately, respond effectively, protect what matters.

Mission

To equip individuals, families, and organizations with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to responsibly protect themselves and others.

Our philosophy

Safety begins long before an emergency. It starts with awareness, preparation, responsible choices, and a realistic understanding of your environment. Firearms can be one component of personal and household protection, but they are never a substitute for judgment, planning, prevention, or training.

Why Graystone exists

Too often, safety is treated as a product to purchase or a reaction to fear. Graystone was built around a different idea: preparedness should be practical, teachable, and sustainable. Our goal is not to make clients anxious about what could happen. It is to help them understand their risks, make thoughtful decisions in advance, and develop skills they can rely on when circumstances change.

The Graystone Approach

01 · Assess

Where are you now? Environment, habits, storage, and existing measures.

02 · Prepare

Plans, decisions, and adjustments made calmly and in advance.

03 · Train

Instruction and repetition until capability is genuinely earned.

04 · Protect

Confident, responsible action when circumstances require it.

Co-Owner & Lead Instructor

Lawrence E. Corbett II

Lawrence E. Corbett II is the co-owner and lead instructor of Graystone Solutions, bringing more than 15 years of law-enforcement experience to the company's training and preparedness programs. His career has included service as a patrol officer, major-felony detective, internal-affairs detective, fugitive investigator, patrol sergeant, fugitive-unit sergeant, and deputy assigned to fugitive operations.

In August 2023, Lawrence was selected by Henry County Sheriff's Office leadership for assignment as a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration. In that role, he has supported complex narcotics investigations, surveillance and intelligence development, coordinated enforcement operations, fugitive apprehension, investigative lead development, and case documentation alongside federal and local partner agencies.

Earlier in his career, Lawrence served with the Clayton County Police Department and Clayton County Sheriff's Office. His experience includes major-felony investigations, search warrants, witness interviews, internal investigations, high-risk fugitive warrants, use-of-force review, team supervision, and interagency coordination. As a Fugitive Unit Sergeant, he led a team that apprehended more than 20 top-ten fugitives in a six-month period and more than 30 in nine months.

At Graystone, Lawrence translates that professional experience into calm, practical instruction for everyday people. His standard is simple: safety first, judgment before equipment, and capability earned through responsible training and repetition.

"Preparation gives you more options when circumstances change."
